Nsoatreman FC has set a price tag of €1.5 million on their young midfielder, Foster Apetorgbor, following interest from various clubs.
The 16-year-old has emerged as a transfer target for Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak and other clubs after his impressive performance in the recently concluded campaign.
Apetorgbor has been making waves since joining Nsoatreman earlier this year after a stellar performance in the Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools Championship. He was instrumental in the club's FA Cup title win last season, scoring the winning penalty kick in the final against Bofoakwa Tano.
According to Nsoatreman FC's General Manager, Eric Alagidede, the club will sanction a move for the teenage sensation if the €1.5 million price tag is met by interested clubs. "Foster Apetorgbor has a release clause of €1.5m. If you get money come buy" Alagidede wrote on Facebook.
Meanwhile, Apetorgbor remains focused on completing his WASSCE exams before making any decisions about his future. His talent is already well recognized, having earned two Player of the Month awards and being named Nsoatreman FC's Young Player of the Season.
Apetorgbor's promising career is set to take another step forward as he prepares with Nsoatreman for their CAF Confederation Cup debut against Elect-Sport FC of Chad. The first leg takes place in Accra on August 18 and the return leg on August 23.
