Asante Kotoko coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has emphasized the need for his team to be ready to take on any opposition in the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Reds are gearing up for the new season, having already recruited 12 new players to strengthen their squad.
According to Dr. Ogum, the team should be prepared to face any opponent at any time and anywhere, and should be able to get the results. "We have to be ready to play any of these teams at any time, anywhere, we should be able to play them and get the results," he told the club's media.
Asante Kotoko will kick off their Ghana Premier League season with an away game against Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
The team finished last season in sixth position with 49 points, and will be looking to improve their performance in the upcoming season.
Before the start of the season, which is slated for September 6, Kotoko will clash with Medeama SC in a friendly match to officially commission the newly built TNA Stadium in Tarkwa on August 16.
