Maxwell Konadu, the head coach of Nsoatreman FC, believes that his team's tactical prowess was the key to their victory over Asante Kotoko.
Nsoatreman FC secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against Asante Kotoko in their matchday 8 clash at the Nana Kronmansah Sports Complex. Stephen Diyuo's solitary goal in the first half proved to be the difference in the game.
Konadu, in his post-match comments, attributed the crucial victory to their tactical superiority, particularly in the first half.
"We were tactically superior to Asante Kotoko in the first half, but Asante Kotoko came into the game strongly. However, we kept our composure," he explained. "We executed our game plan, and I am pleased with the results."
Konadu also pointed out that the well-resourced training facility at the club has played a significant role in their good performance. He said, "We are performing well because we have a well-resourced training facility. We are able to implement any training program we want to the best of our ability, and that is yielding results for us."
This victory has maintained Nsoatreman FC's position at the top of the league table with 16 points. In their upcoming matchday 9 fixture, Maxwell Konadu and his team will face Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium, where they will aim to continue their winning streak against the two-time Ghana Premier League champions.
