FC Samartex head coach, Nurudeen Amadu has revealed that he would love to see defender Isaac Afful securing a contract in Europe after being handed a Black Stars call-up for Ghana’s 2025 AFCON qualifier against Sudan.
Ghana will face Sudan on Thursday, October 10, in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium.
25-year-old Samartex defender Isaac Afful is one of the two Ghana Premier League players handed an invitation by Black Stars coach Otto Addo for the imminent games.
Commenting on Afful's inclusion in the Black Stars squad, Amadu expressed his excitement for the youngster.
“It means we have been doing something good. With training his consistency, he’s also been hard working and we wish him all the best. We are all praying for him and we are all behind him.
"We wish that from there he should even land a contract in Europe and live away because he deserved to be there. We wish him all the best,” Coach Amadu said in an interview with Samartex Media.
