Medeama SC and FC Samartex preserved their unbeaten start to the season after a pulsating goalless draw at the new TnA Stadium in GPL outstanding match-week 3 fixture.

Coach Nebojsa Kapor made four changes from the team that started their last game as he aims at nothing but a win this time around.

On the other hand, FC Samartex were without goalkeeper Kofi Baah who was replaced by Ivorian Japheth Norvienyo and Emmanuel Mamah. Adu Siaw captained with Agbesimah getting his first start.

Medeama SC were the dominant side in the early stages playing like the typical home side with Samartex looking very resolute in defense despite not having much of possession.

In the second half, the homesters came so close to scoring through Diawisie Taylor but a great save from Japheth Norvienyo saved his side from danger.

The Timber Giants also didn't look scared and stood up to the task even though it was tough and made some dangerous attacks but it was all futile.

It ended goalless after 90+9 minutes as both teams remain unbeaten since the commencement of the season.

Medeama SC with three wins and two draws, are currently on the third position with 11 points and will travel to Bechem United next.

Also, FC Samartex have just a win so far with four draws leaving them on the 9th spot with 7 points and will host Nsoatreman FC this weekend.
