Asante Kotoko have officially announced the signing of left-back Patrick Asiedu from Berekum Chelsea on a three-year deal until 2027.
The 21-year-old defender completed his move to the Kumasi-based club after passing his mandatory medical on Friday afternoon.
Asiedu, who featured 23 times for Berekum Chelsea last season, registering an assist, is expected to compete with Sudan's Esmat Abdulhamid for the left-back position in the upcoming season.
The young defender's arrival is a significant boost to Kotoko's defensive options, and he will be looking to make an immediate impact at his new club.
