Berekum Chelsea have announced the re-signing of former skipper Stephen Amankona on a permanent deal from Asante Kotoko in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.
The talented nimble footed player landed in the city of Berekum on Saturday and has now put pen to papper on the deal after passing his mandatory medical examinations with the Golden City Park outfit in this current window.
The 'Bibires' took to their official twitter handle to announce the capturing of the 22-year-old : "We are delighted to announce the signing of Stephen Amankona on a permanent deal. He is Back???? ?."
The former Ghana U-20 star failed to cement a spot in the main squad ranks of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium outfit since joining them in October 2021.
He will now hope to get his career back on track with the former Ghana Premier League champions having been frozen out in the squad ranks of the 'Porcupine Warriors'.
He has so far featured in 8 league games, netting once for Asante Kotoko in the ongoing Betpawa Ghana Premier League contest.
