Ghanaian champions Bibiani GoldStars have announced the signing of experienced striker Prince Opoku Agyemang ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
The 33-year-old returns to the Dun’s Park after leaving in 2022 official club statement on Facebook reads;
“We are delighted to announce that Prince Opoku Agyemang, our former forward, has rejoined the Miners on a long-term deal!
“Prince returns home from Indian side Mohammedan Sporting Club and is ready to shine once again in the Gold and Green. Welcome back, Prince!”
Opoku Agyemang, in the last few years has been a household name in Ghana football despite being away recently and has featured for local clubs like New Edubiase FC, Eleven Wise, Heart of Lions, Medeama SC etc and was once a member of the home-based national team — Black Galaxies.
The lanky forward has had spells abroad with clubs like Cape Town City FC and was recently in Asia, where he had his last spell with Iniduan I-league side Mohammedan SC.
He is expected to bring in wealth of experience from the exposure he’s had so far to add up to the Miners’ fire ammunition heading into the new season especially in their Africa campaign
GoldStars after losing recently to Asante Kotoko in the ‘Champion of Champions’, have shifted their focus to the CAF Champions League where they will face Algerian side JS Kabylie in the first preliminary round later this month.
