The Hunters chief is sanguine his side will annex the top-flight competitiontitle given their preparedness ahead of the impending league campaign
Bechem United will be first at the end of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League according to club's Chief Executive Officer Kingsley Osei Bonsu.
The one-time Ghanaian MTN FA Cup champions bankroller feels the time has come for his side to taste their first league title triumph in the Ghanaian elite division after coming close to winning it for the past two seasons with third-place finish at the end of those terms.
Following the augmentation of their set-up ahead of the commencement of the new season this coming Friday, the braggart football administrator is confident the title will be there for his outfit considering their assembled squad.
"When you come third two consecutive times, you now aim for the first position. And as I always say, either the first or with the first. The way I see things this season, there is a likelihood we will come first," Lord Zico as affectionately called by fans said.
He added: "You’ve seen it for yourself. The team is very strong. It’s a very good side. The attackers are very strong and they run. And with the inclusion of Okrah, things will work out.”
Bechem United will face Nsoatreman FC in an away fixture at the Nana Professor Koromansa II park on Sunday for their league season opener.
