Nations FC defender Emmanuel Boahen has reaffirmed the club’s goal of clinching the Ghana Premier League title by the end of the current season.
The Abrankese-based side currently sits second in the league standings, just one point behind leaders Bibiani Goldstars after 12 matches. Boahen emphasized that securing the league title is the club’s top priority.
“Our objective is to win the Ghana Premier League at the end of the season. We are determined to grind out results in every match to improve our chances,” Boahen said in an interview.
The 26-year-old defender played a key role in Nations FC’s impressive Ghana Premier League debut last season, leading the team as captain to a seventh-place finish in the 2023/24 campaign.
Boahen, who had been linked with a summer move away from the club, has returned to Nations FC and is focused on helping the team achieve their title aspirations.
