Kotoko's stop-gap coach, Abdulai Gazale has fumed at the poor display of his players in their embarrassing defeat to Great Olympics earlier today.

The Porcupine Warriors succumbed to a 2-0 loss to the Wonder Club at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope in match-week 28 of the Ghana Premier League on Thursday afternoon.

They had the opportunity to leapfrog rivals Hearts of Oak to reinstate themselves into the top four heading into the game but bottled it once again whiles Olympics are gradually hoping to move out of danger zone.

Speaking in a post-match interview, the young tactician expressed complete dissatisfaction over the performance of his charges and believe they should have done better.

“It's very disappointing because we came here [Sogakope] to maintain our winning streak. Our players didn't perform better in the first fifteen minutes of the game,” Gazale said after the game.

“We conceded in the early minutes which was avoidable same situation resulted in the second goal. It very disappointing that the players keep display such output whenever we get the chance to make it to the top. The performance in the first half was awful.”

They are currently sixth on the log and will host inform Tamale City in the next round of matches.
