Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum expressed his satisfaction with his team's performance following a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Berekum Chelsea in a Week 4 Ghana Premier League clash at Golden City Park.

The match saw the Porcupine Warriors take an early lead before Chelsea equalized, resulting in a tightly contested stalemate. In his post-match interview, Coach Ogum commended his players for their efforts against a challenging opponent, noting the strategic execution of their game plan.

“I think our plan for the game worked because of the chances we created. We had numerous opportunities that we should have converted. We tried to play the balls behind their laterals and we got a goal. To me, it was a good game, and both teams showed a lot of intensity,” said Ogum.

The Kotoko coach further reassured fans of the team's potential to secure victories in future matches. “We have played only three games. We have won one and drawn two, so I think it’s a work in progress. The boys are doing well, and I urge the fans to continue supporting the team. I’m confident that going forward, we will give them what they want.”

Looking ahead, Asante Kotoko will prepare to face Nsoatreman FC in a midweek fixture to address their Week 2 outstanding match, as they aim to build on their current momentum in the league.
