Head Coach of Legon Cities, Paa Kwesi Fabin has predicted a bright future for his hardworking lad Frank Antwi after firing two goals in their hard fought 2-1 comeback victory over Karela United in their 2023/24 Ghana Premier League opener on Sunday at the El-Wak Stadium.

The 28-year-old forward scored twice in the 61st and 69th minutes respectively to see to it that they annexed all three points at stake.

Karela scored the first goal of the match to put shocks in the spine of the home team in the 17th minute through 19-year-old midfielder Abdul Ayeh.

“We played well, the organization was good. We were unlucky to go down after a brilliant start. I told the boys in the dressing room, "I am proud of their first half performance but let’s go again in the second half with more confidence and urgency," Fabin stated after the game.

"Frank Antwi is a real talent and he will go far. This is just the beginning, let’s take it game after game," he added.

Legon Cities will come neck-to-neck with firefluos Accra Lions in a regional derby at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, September 23.
