Former Ghana international and ex-coach of Accra Great Olympics has emphasized that the Ghana Premier League can attract fans to matches only through high-quality football.
His comments come in response to the low attendance figures observed at some league venues.
According to Preko, fans are eager to witness an entertaining and skillful display whenever they attend a match at the stadium. Therefore, if the league consistently offers quality football, fans will be more likely to attend in larger numbers.
He stated, "It's a different era in terms of the supporters trooping in. Yes, they want to see good football. What I like about Hearts and Kotoko is all they want is, express good football and the supporters will come in their numbers."
