Young and vibrant Kessben Media Group sports journalist, Andy Akosah Boampong, popularly known as Andy Kerm has named Burkinabe footballer Ahmed Simba Toure as his choice for the best foreign player to have played for Asante Kotoko.

Andy was responding to a question from a Kessben FM listener about the best foreign import in Kotoko's history, and he immediately chose Toure. The sports analyst stated that Toure's peers in this category were not on the same level as the Burkinabe striker.

Toure gained instant popularity among football fans, particularly Asante Kotoko supporters, after joining the club in the 2007/2008 season where he registered fourteen goals from twenty-five appearances. The enterprising forward had three stints with Kotoko, winning three Ghana Premier League titles.
