FC AshantiGold 04 have reportedly opened discussions with Nurudeen Amadu, head coach of Karela United FC, over a potential appointment as they prepare for their maiden Ghana Premier League campaigns.
According to reports, negotiations are still at an early stage, with no final agreement reached between both parties, although Amadu has emerged as a leading candidate for the role.
The Obuasi-based club is believed to be planning a major restructuring of its technical setup as part of efforts to strengthen its competitiveness ahead of the new season.
As part of the proposed changes, current head coach Karim Zito is expected to be reassigned to the role of technical director if the restructuring is completed.
Amadu is seen as a key target due to his reputation for tactical discipline, strong organisation, and structured team play during his tenure at Karela United.
While discussions continue, neither club has confirmed any agreement, and the situation remains open as negotiations progress.
