Swedru All Blacks head coach Ahmed Fathy is edging closer to dismissal following a poor run of results that has left the newly promoted side entrenched in the relegation zone after ten rounds of the Ghana Premier League season.

Fathy, the Egyptian tactician who was appointed as part of the club’s wider technical restructuring, has struggled to generate something unique since All Blacks’ return to the top flight after a 16-year absence.

The Black Magicians have collected just two wins, two draws and six defeats from their opening ten matches, a return that has yielded only eight points from a possible 30.

However, pressure had already been building prior to the club’s meeting with Hearts of Oak over the weekend, with sections of the supporters calling for his dismissal. Although All Blacks held the Phobians to a draw, the result did little to ease the tension.

Kickgh.com can reveals that senior figures at the club are said to be weighing up his future, as a decision is expected to be taken shortly.

In the event of a change, former Nations FC coach Kasim Mingle, who recently was relieved off duties at the Abrankese side is believed to be among the leading contenders to take over the dugout of the Black Magicians, adding more drama to the already unsettled situation in Swedru.
