Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak have reached an agreement to sign former Bibiani Gold Stars forward Prince Kwabena Owusu.

The 28-year-old striker is expected to undergo a medical next week before signing a two-year contract with the Phobians, pending final formalities.

Hearts of Oak had previously attempted to secure Owusu’s services during the January transfer window but were unable to complete the move at the time. The club has now revived interest as part of efforts to strengthen its attacking options ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Owusu, who last played for Saudi Arabia's third division outfit Al-Alhadayah SC, where he impressed with his performances, is expected to bring added firepower to a Hearts side looking to bounce back from a difficult season.

The Phobians will make an official announcement once the medical is completed.
