Asante Kotoko board member, Kofi Amoa-Abban has called for the immediate sacking of Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum from the club ahead of the 2022/23 season's campaign.
Narteh Ogum on Wednesday reportedly told the board directors of the club to resign from his role as the head coach of the reigning Ghana Premier League champions.
Management members of Asante Kotoko namely Emmanuel Dasoberi Newton and Patrick Osei Agyemang confirmed that the 44-year-old trainer has decided to quit his job unilaterally after ten months in charge.
However, the board members of Asante Kotoko issued a statement signed by Kwamina Mensah who is the secretary of the 12-member board denying that Prosper Narteh Ogum has not resigned from his role.
Board member, Kofi Amoa-Abban is the lastest personality to comment on the situation at the club, he has vehemently said that coach Prosper Narteh Ogum should be fired with an immediate effect.
He stated in a twitter post that the former WAFA and Ebusua Dwarfs coach is not bigger than Asante Kotoko
Below is Kofi Amoa-Abban's tweet
