Board member of Asante Kotoko, Kofi Amoa-Abban has described the club's current management team led by CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah as great after their recent success.
The Porcupine Warriors finally ended their seven year league abeyance after emerging as champions of the just-ended 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
However, with the team getting ready for preseason towards next season especially the CAF Champions League, the recent happenings in the team is most likely to delay their preparations.
Head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum earlier this week announced his resignation with some other management members confirming the development.
Reacting to these, Board member Kofi Amoa-Abban has strongly called for the jettisoning of the coach and stated the club is currently under a great management team.
He wrote on Twitter; "Asante Kotoko is under the Stewardship of a great Management Team led by Nana Yaw Amponsah. The success on and off the pitch last season is testament to this fact. THE COACH SHOULD BE FIRED. No one is bigger than the club. Asante Kotoko remains Supreme."
