The news in the local media suggest that the Online betting platforms have informed the Ghana Football Association (GFA) of their decision to terminate the contract.
In 2022, betPawa announced a three-year sponsorship deal with the Ghana Football Association to headline the Premier League in a deal worth $6 million.
However, it has been reported that betPawa has prematurely ended their contract as the headline sponsors of the Ghana Premier League.
The 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season will be entering into match-week 10 this weekend as Asante Kotoko make a trip to Samreboi to face Samartex while Hearts of Oak host Legon Cities.
