Hearts of Oak captain, Gladson Awako has been strongly linked with a move to join Major League Soccer side FC Cincinnati and that is likely to happen early next year, per reports.
The deal is considered done by many following the partnership agreement that exist between the two clubs and Awako will become the second trade in this after youngster Salim Adams- who has been with them for sometime now.
The 31 year old has started the ongoing campaign on an explosive note for the 'Phobians' having contributed three goals in seven matches, including to beauties against Bibiani Goldstars and Accra Lions just recently.
Speculations coming in is that, the 2009 U-20 World Cup winner is most likely to return to the United States club in the January transfer window which will be opened very soon.
He's already been there but featured in the USL Championship with Phoenix Rising FC and will be playing in the MLS this time should the deal materialize.
At the moment, Gladson Awako after captaining the team to qualify for the 2022 CHAN, is currently in camp with his teammates getting themselves prepared for the tourney which is scheduled to begin on January 8, 2023.
