AshantiGold SC attacker, Yaw Annor is very close to completing a switch to Egyptian outfit Ismaily SC in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 24 year old had an incredible season after notching massive 22 goals to fend off stiffer oppositions especially from Kotoko's Franck Mbella to claim the goalking award at the end of the season.
His stellar display saw him being awarded with the goalking award and also the best home-based footballer in the 2022 Ghana Football Awards which was held last Saturday at the Grand Arena in the capital.
The mercurial winger scored 20 of his goals this year, which saw him being recognized by the world's highest football governing body FIFA as part of player's with the most goals worldwide in the just-finished campaign, tying up with Brazil's Hulk on the 7th position.
Yaw Annor per reports, arrived in the North African country last Tuesday and has successfully passed all medical test he underwent, having also agreed personal terms with the club already.
His move to the Ismailia Stadium is very imminent and will be made official very soon with AshantiGold SC set to pocket $200,000 as the transfer fee.
