Young goalie Danlad Ibrahim has decided not to extend his stay with the Kumasi giants and is set to leave when he runs out of contract, per exclusive report reaching Kickgh.com
The 19 year old switched to the Porcupine Warriors in 2017 after an impressive spell with the Black Starlets, and has understudied very well at the club for years now.
During his study period, the enterprising shot-stopper had loan spells at Berekum Chelsea and also King Faisal where he helped them survived relegation in the 2020/21 season.
However, he took over the Kotoko post in the middle of this season right after the exit of first choice goalie Razak Abalora who left to join Moldovan champions FC Sheriff Tiraspol and played an instrumental role in helping Asante Kotoko win the league.
Danlad, 19, has few months left in his contract with the two time African champions and is set to end in December, and per reports has turned down Kotoko's contract renewal offer with series of attempts to get him extend set to be made.
