Medeama SC marksman, Jonathan Sowah has reportedly been ruled out of their crunchy clash against Aduana Stars- in arguably the biggest fixture of match-day two of the Ghana Premier League.

The 24-year-old was looking good after their last game but has sustained a knock and is now ruled out of the trip to Dormaa.

This is a huge blow for coach Evans Adortey who would have needed his service for this penultimate clash and will now have to rely on his second alternative.

The elite gunman has been explosive since joining the current Ghanaian champions from Danbort FC early this year, and netted solid 16 goals in 23 matches last season.

He's started very well once more, having scored also, against Remo Stars in the Champions League, Dreams FC in the Super Cup and in their season opener against Accra Lions last week- a tie they drew 2-2 in Tarkwa.

However, Jonathan Sowah is expected to be fully fit by next week to be ready for their second leg fixture against Guinean fold Horoya AC in Conakry.

He just recently made his debut for the senior men national team, the Black Stars and assisted Jordan Ayew to score in a 3-1 win over Liberia in a friendly couple of weeks ago.
