Life patron and owner of Ghana Premier League (GPL) giants Asante Kotoko, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will announce a new board of directors before the new football season starts, according to an Nhyira FM report.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II dissolved the Nana Yaw Amponsah-led management and Dr Kwame Kyei-led board after the end 2022-23 Ghana Premier League season, naming an Interim Management Committee (IMC) to run the affairs of the club.
The decision to form a new board of directors is a requirement by the Club Licensing Committee since an Interim Committee cannot run a club for more than a season.
The executive board chairman of the new board of directors set to be announced will act as the head of the Management Team which is also yet to be named
Kickgh.com understands the new board of directors will not be more than six people.
