According to reports, Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak are very close to resigning former defender Robert Addo Sowah in the second transfer window.

The 30-year-old enjoyed a stellar six-year spell with the 'Phobians' and was really influential and mainstay on most occasions and was an integral member of coach Samuel Boadu's side that won the domestic treble in 2021.

Having made 24 appearances with a goal to his belt last season, Robert Addo left the club after the expiration of his contract and has been unattached since then.

However, information from reliable sources today indicates he is very close to rejoining his former club and has already commenced training with club at Kpobiman.

With talks ongoing between both parties, agreement is expected to be finalized by the close of Friday and will be registered for the second round of the season.
