Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak per exclusive reports circulating in the local media, are contemplating on sacking six players very soon, mainly due to their recent poor performances.
According to speculations, these six players include Kwadwo Obeng Jr, Suraj Seidu, Michelle Sarpong, Cameroon's Albert Eonde and two goalkeepers Richard Attah and Eric Ofori Antwi.
As to whether this massive squad shake up will be done in the second transfer window or at the end of the season, hasn't being confirmed yet but these aforementioned players are under a huge threat and are most likely to be released by the club.
The Rainbow Club's jittery and appalling run continues as they hope to augment their squad as soon as possible to establish a redoubtable side with no blemishes in order to compete for title in the second phase of the season.
The 'Phobians' are hoping to add up to their squad next month with goalkeeper Osei Kwadwo Bonsu and Kwame Baah all linked to the club and rumours say they have already started training.
However, stalwart and experience defender Robert Addo Sowah is also likely to return after being realeased at the end of last season after the expiration of his contract.
Hearts of Oak's performance so far this season has been very abysmal with three wins and are currently occupying the 10th spot on the league log with only 17 points after 15 games.
They will play as guests to regional rivals Great Olympics in the next round of matches on Friday, December 22, 2023 in Kumasi.
