Former Hearts of Oak player Stephen Appiah is set to make a return to the club as a board member to the esteemed African Club of the Century.
On Tuesday, a directive was issued to dissolve the club's board of directors in anticipation of the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) in March 2024.
The Phobians will name a new board as they have begun the process, with Appiah's name coming up as a potential board member.
Appai, 43, will bring on-board a great chunk of experience having featured for the Phobians between 1995 and 1997, going ahead to captain the Black Stars as they qualified for the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cups in Germany and South Africa.
