Junior Kaaba's agent, Amadou Fontem Tigana, reveals that he rejected a move to Algeria club to sign for Hearts of Oak.
Junior Kaaba signed a two-year deal with Hearts of Oak this week.
The former Fauvre Azur striker scored eleven goals and set-up five assists last season in the Cameronian top-flight.
Hearts of Oak placed sixth in the league but won the MTN FA cup last season.
Amadou Tigana says the 23-year-old striker had a deal in Algeria but decided to sign for Hearts of Oak.
“I have been scouting strikers for close to 20 years and it doesn’t take me too long to identify one," he said on Akoma FM.
"Moreover, he has been the top scorer for all the teams he has played for.”
Tigana lauded Hearts of Oak for signing the striker.
“I watched him for two days in two separately games and I was amazed at his performance and I approached him to work with me.
“I give Kudos to the Hearts of Oak Board for getting him on board because there was a deal for him in Algeria and he rejected to join Hearts so they have done well," he revealed.
