The Tamale-based Premier League side have appointed the young enterprising tactician as new head coach ahead of the upcoming season.
Ghana Premier League side Real Tamale United (RTU) have announced the appointment of Baba Nuhu Mallam as the club's head coach for the next two years.
Nuhu Mallam, who is the head coach of Ghana's Black Maidens team has joined the Blue and White lads on a two-year deal with an option of a year renewal.
He has joined RTU as replacement for Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko who was sacked by the club last month.
The club's official statement reads “Real Tamale United is delighted to announce the appointment of Baba Nuhu Mallam as First Team Manager from the beginning of this season until June 2024, with the option to extend for a further year”
RTU were in the relegation zone for most part of the second round of the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League and escaped at the very end of the season.
They will open their 2022-23 season's campaign at home in the Ghana Premier League to Bibiani Gold Stars FC next month.
