Real Tamale United has urged supporters of the club to ignore speculation linking star man David Sandan Abagna with a departure from the club this month.
The 24-year-old, joined the Pride of the North from Ashanti Gold in 2021 and has established himself as one of the top attacking midfielders in Ghana.
A number of Ghanaian top tier clubs had been chasing the signature of Abagna, including Hearts of Oak and Kotoko, but Kickgh understands RTU are reluctant to let go of their in-demand youngster.
"It has come to our notice, about numerous speculations linking our Skipper, David Abagna Sandan to other clubs. We as management of the club wish to inform our supporters and the general public to discard such information and speculations," RTU stated.
"We entreat the media to use their platform to support our Black Galaxies as they’re far away in Algeria and allow the player to have full concentration on his current national assignment in the ongoing CHAN 2022 tournament. Thank you."
