Former Asante Kotoko winger, Robert Eshun, has tragically passed away in London at the age of 49.

Reports indicate that he experienced a cardiac arrest while driving to work in the early hours of Monday.

Robert Eshun, affectionately known as Ebo Electric, is most notably remembered for his goal in the 1990 FA Cup final.

He commenced his football career at Asante Kotoko before venturing to Belgium, where he played for Turnhout, Tielen, and Lommel during the early nineties.

The speedy winger also had a stint in the Turkish Super Lig with Gaziantep and later played for Sarawak in Malaysia.
