Dr. Richard Duah Nsenkyire, the bankroller of FC Samartex 1996 believes Ghana football has a bright future despite opposing opinions lingering around it.

 

In recent years there has been a bone of contention as to the competitiveness of the Ghana Premier League, but the Timber Giants boss thinks otherwise - stating that the Ghana Premier League has become competitive in the last two seasons.




“For me, I have a lot of hope for the future of Ghana. The league is becoming competitive. What we need more now is financial support and good infrastructure the boys can play football on,” he told Asempa FM.




Under the tutelage of Nurudeen Amadu, FC Samartex has won the league, having dished out an superb performance this season.




The Timber Giants won 18 matches, lost 10, and posted 4 draws out of the 32 games they have played so far, with just two games to end the season.
