FC Samartex has strengthened their offensive prowess with the acquisition of Baba Hamadu Musa, a talented forward from Skyy FC.
The accomplished striker has committed to a three-year contract with the Samreboi-based club, pending a medical examination.
Following the ongoing Division One League Super Cup in Kumasi, Hamadu Musa, formerly associated with Dreams FC, will make his official transition to FC Samartex.
Despite significant interest from notable clubs such as Asante Kotoko, Medeama SC, and Accra Lions, Musa has opted to align with FC Samartex, allured by their impressive project.
During the previous season, Musa concluded as the top scorer in the division one league, recording a remarkable twenty goals. This achievement drew attention from various top-tier Ghanaian clubs, including Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.
Baba Hamadu Musah initiated his football journey with Rail Stars Academy in the Western Region's division two league. His potential as a promising striker quickly became evident.
Impressing the coaching staff at Dreams FC, the powerful attacker, who had previously attended Adiembra Senior High School, joined the Dawu-based club in 2018. Subsequently, he was loaned to Skyy FC, a move that eventually led to his full transfer to the same club.
Musa's time at Skyy FC has been marked by impressive performances, establishing him as a key figure within the team. He played a significant role in guiding Skyy FC to the semifinals of the previous season's FA Cup.
Notably, Musa's contributions almost secured a spot in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season for Daboase-based Skyy FC. However, they narrowly missed out on qualification, yielding the ticket to Nations FC.
