Ghana Premier League champions, Samatex 1996 on Wednesday presented the league trophy they won during the 223/24 season to the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin.
Richard Duah Nsenkyire, who doubles as the owner, bankroller of the team and the Paramount Chief of Samreboi led the delegation and was accompanied by General Manager, Edmund Ackah and a section of the playing body.
Samartex showed appreciation to Speaker Mr. Alban Bagbin for receiving them and allowing them to present the league trophy to him.
However, Speaker Mr. Alban Bagbin congratulated the Timber Giants for making history in winning the domestic top tier league.
Samartex made history by becoming winners of the Ghana Premier League in the recently ended season, deposing Medeama off the trophy.
