Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu has described their drawn game with Asante Kotoko as a fair one due to the reason that, they had to come from a goal down to secure a point
The 'Phobians' nipped on a last gasp equalizer to earn a vital 1-1 drawn game against their bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko in week 3 of the ongoing GPL season.
Mubarik Yussif scored early in the second half to put Kotoko in front but a late header from Caleb Amankwah shared the points among the clubs.
Speaking in the post-match presser, the enterprising gaffer was satisfied with the draw especially coming from a goal down and explained why Gladson Awako had a bad game. He said;
"It was a fair results for Hearts. It is always a big game so coming back to get a draw is always difficult so I think we have done well."
"Awako can play 90 minutes. I pulled him off because he had a knock at the early stages of the game he couldn't do what he was supposed."
"When you working as a team and one thing breaks, it affects the whole team. Awako couldn't give incisive passes and wasn't at his best due to the knock and that affected us." He concluded
Hearts of Oak will face Bibiani Goldstars in their next league fixture this weekend.
