Ghanaian tactician Samuel Boadu is likely to remain as Berekum Chelsea coach ahead of the upcoming season.

Boadu took charge in March 2024 on a short-term deal, having replaced Christopher Ennin as Berekum Chelsea head coach - two games into the second half of the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season.

However, following the expiration of his contract, Boadu is set to ink a long-term contract with the Bibires, having started negotiations with the leadership of the club.

The former Hearts of Oak coach gained wide plaudits after leading the Phobians to win the Ghana Premier League title, FA Cup and President’s Cup.
