Hearts of Oak gaffer, Samuel Boadu has said that he has not been impressed with the performance of his side in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.

Hearts of Oak drew 1-1 with Great Olympics in the Ga Mantse derby at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Newly-signed defender, Konadu Yiadom secured the point for Hearts of Oak after Great Olympics took the lead on the 8th minute through Abdul Razak Yussif.

The Accra-based side had lost their first league game against Aduana Stars in Dormaa Ahenkro.

Hearts of Oak have only a-point after two games.

Samuel Boadu says he's not happy about the performance of Hearts of Oak after their stalemate with Great Olympics.

"It is really bad that we could only manage to secure a point but there is more room for improvement. For Hearts, we're not happy about the performance now and the point so far but we have to work hard to improve,” Samuel Boadu said after the game.

“We were down at certain moments but I love the fighting spirit of players and I believe if they keep on like that it would help the team.”

Hearts of Oak will travel to Kumasi to face their arch-rivals Asante Kotoko this weekend.
