Great Olympics head coach Yaw Preko has confessed Hearts of Oak took total control of the game though they held them to a pulsating stalemate but still feels like they lost.
The 'Dade' outfit proved stubborn once again to the giants and regional rivals Hearts of Oak to a drawn game at the Ohene Gyan Stadium in match-week 2 last Sunday.
They opened the scoring account on the 8th minute through Abdul Razak Yussif but Konadu Yiadom's heartbreaking equaliser with two minutes to full time shared the spoils between the clubs.
The former Black Stars forward admitted their opponents controlled and dominated the game but the time of getting their leveller makes it feels like a defeat to them.
"We didn't get our rhythm from the whistle go. We wanted to build from the back and control the game but they took control of the game. We kept on telling our players to not our Awako play but they allowed him to dictate the pace of the game."
"It got to a time they were in possession but we're not threatening us. We were in control so we wanted to just stabilize things by holding up but unfortunately there was a set piece and was lifted above everyone and is something you can't do anything about."
"After holding them to that extent, It feels like a defeat though we were playing away."
Great Olympics will host King Faisal in week 3 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
