Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has categorically denied reports suggesting that defensive midfielder Samuel Tenadu will be loaned out during the January transfer window.
Speaking after Asante Kotoko’s Week 15 victory over Gold Stars in the Ghana Premier League, Ogum dismissed the rumors as baseless, emphasizing that Tenadu remains a key part of his squad.
“Has anybody told you he’s going anywhere? These are mere speculations. Have you officially heard from Kotoko’s media team that he’s leaving? He’s not going anywhere. He’s with us. Whoever wrote that should retract because it’s not true,” Ogum asserted.
Ogum also shifted focus to Kotoko’s next match, a Week 16 clash against Medeama SC. The game is scheduled for Sunday, January 5, at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.
The Porcupine Warriors will be aiming to build on their recent victory as they continue their push for the Ghana Premier League title.
