Former Asante Kotoko striker, Stephen Manu, has expressed his excitement about the potential partnership between Albert Amoah and Kwame Opoku, suggesting that it could make the Porcupine Warriors' attack even more lethal.

Amoah, who joined Kotoko from Great Olympics in the summer, has made an immediate impact with seven goals in 12 Ghana Premier League appearances. His performance has caught the attention of many, including Manu, who believes that the addition of Kwame Opoku to the attack will elevate Kotoko's forward line.

In an interview with Kessben FM, Manu shared his thoughts on the pairing, saying, “Albert Amoah is a fighter and a good goal scorer. He missed a few chances, but his determination was clear. Kotoko’s attack will be deadly with Amoah and Kwame Poku together.”

Manu also praised the overall progress of the team, stating, “I would rate Kotoko 60%. On a good day, they could score five or six goals. The team is now gelling well.”

Kwame Opoku, who was unveiled as a Kotoko player just before the Super Clash against Hearts of Oak, has made his return to the club, and Manu is optimistic about the attacking potential this partnership holds.

Meanwhile, Amoah will be looking to maintain his impressive form as he targets the Ghana Premier League Goal King title. Currently, Nations FC's Faisal Charwetey leads the top scorer chart with eight goals, while Amoah trails closely behind with seven.
