Asante Kotoko's Ugandan striker, Steven Dese Mukwala had dubbed his first season with the giants as a difficult one but ended extending gratitude to their fans for the support and added they will bounce back stronger
The lanky forward joined the Porcupine Warriors in the summer of last year after an impressive spell with Ugandan topflight side Ura FC.
He introduced himself in the city of Kumasi on w blistering note and despite having a shaky start, he managed to acclimatize quickly to fund his numbers in the course of the season.
The 23 year old played 30 times this season in the league and contributed to 16 goals; having scored 11 with 5 assists.
However, despite all these, Kotoko couldn't defend their title but managed to finish on the fourth position with 52 points.
Summarizing his first ever GPL campaign, the Cranes forward has described their campaign as a tedious one and concluded by saying they will return on a blistering note next season.

He is currently with the Ugandan national team as they prepare for their next game in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
