Salasi Satekla, the younger brother of Ghanaian music superstar Stonebwoy, has officially signed with Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities.
The offensive midfielder has agreed to a two-year contract with the club, which took effect ahead of the start of the second round of the 2024/25 league season.
Satekla, who is now focusing on a professional football career, was recently spotted alongside his older brother at a historic football event featuring former Arsenal star Emmanuel Adebayor.
His addition to Legon Cities is expected to bolster the team as they aim to recover from a difficult first round, where they finished 17th with just 14 points from 17 matches.
Although the club has not made an official announcement, they have teased fans on social media by sharing a song from Stonebwoy, hinting at the arrival of the musician's brother.
Satekla becomes the fourth player to join the Royals during the January transfer window, following the acquisition of former Kotoko winger Emmanuel Gyamfi.
Legon Cities, based at the University of Ghana, will hope Satekla's arrival brings the creativity and impact needed to help them climb out of the relegation zone in the second half of the season.
