Medeama SC hitman, Jonathan Sowah has been warned to stop being arrogant and indiscipline if he wants to reach the top in his football career.

In a sincere advice issued by former captain of Aduana Stars, Yahaya Mohammed, he urged Sowah to do away with 'bad character'.

According to Yahaya Mohammed, Sowah's attitude raised eyebrows after been handed his call-up to the Black Stars, as he's becoming arrogant and indisciplined both on and off the field of play.

“How is his performance after his Black Stars call-up? He is arrogant now, not going to training, receiving unnecessary cards, and indiscipline in the field of the play. It can affect you because you are not there yet so that is the problem,” Yahaya told Ngleshie Amanfro based Mothers 102.7FM.

“He is one of the finest strikers Ghana can rely on but he may end up spending all his time in Ghana if they don’t manage him well to stop being arrogant. We don’t want it to be like that.

“I know him and he is one of the finest strikers but he is arrogant now after his first national team call-up.

Yahaya went ahead to state that he wouldn't be surprised if Sowah makes Black Stars final cut of the 26 squad list for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations slated for next month in Cote d'Ivoire.

“I won’t be surprised if he makes the final squad because he deserves it. We have to prepare him well because he can become one of the top strikers for the Black Stars and Ghana but he should stop being arrogant and indiscipline. I’m just being honest with him because I like him,” he added.
