An Oyerepa FM report indicates that Asante Kotoko is paying four 'do nothing' players who have been sidelined a banging amount of over GH₵ 20,000.
The said players are Solomon Safo Taylor, Rashid Nortey, Ernest Osei Poku, and Clinton Opoku.
Taylor is said to be the highest indolent player who receives GH₵ 8,000, followed by Rashid Nortey who takes home GH₵ 6,000, Osei Poku who pockets GH₵ 3,500 while Clinton Opoku earns a stubby GH₵ 3,000.
This developing story has infuriated the connoisseurs of the game to vent out their displeasure, accusing the management of the Porcupine Warriors of making a non-merit whole host of poor recruitment and sidelining of players in the parousia-coach Prosper Narteh Ogum era.
The quondam amount sums up to a merged GH₵ 20,500 paid by the Ghanaian giants to the players every month.
The quartet who have a running contract with the club has been sidelined because coach Ogum has told management of the team of his unwillingness to work with them as they aren't in his plans.
However, they have been barred from attending training and therefore does not make Kum-Apem matchday squads.
