Christopher Demenya, chairman of Asante Kotoko National Circles Council, has charged fans of the club to register to their official supporters' database, Fabulous Census (Fabu Census).
The Fabu Census is a platform which enables all Asante Kotoko Supporters worldwide to register to become official members of the club, with each supporter being encouraged to make monthly contributions (Dues) to support the Porcupine Warriors.
Demanya admits the teeming fans can help raise enough funds to support the dealings of the club which will let their voice be heard in the running of the Kumasi-based side.
Speaking in an interview with Kessben Sports, he said; "The Fabu Census is the backbone of Kotoko. Supporters need to register on the Fabu Census. What project can’t we do if we can raise a lot of money as supporters?
"That’s what as supporters we should be thinking about and stop blaming individuals. The team belongs to us. We exist when the team exists. So, I am begging the fans to register with the Fabu Census. They should pay because fans in Europe pay dues to support their various clubs.
“When we do this, we will have a say in how the club is run. If we contribute something to the club each month, we'll even have a say in selecting people to manage the club. I'll urge you all to spend your money on the team."
