The former AC Milan and Inter Milan top star has disclosed that he will be extending his stay at the Ghana Premier League heavyweights ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Ghana legendary midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari has confirmed that his six-month contract with Hearts of Oak has expired.
Muntari, who joined the Phobians on a free transfer prior to the start of the 2021/22 season, has said that he will be commiting his future to the club for the upcoming season.
The 37-year-old enforcer in an interview with GTV Sports+ revealed his intention to remain with Hearts of Oak as the CAF Confederation Cup campaign approaches.
“I signed only 6 months contract with Hearts of Oak, and I want to renew it, [because] I want to be part of the African campaign [CAF Confederation Cup]” Muntari told GTV Sports+
Muntari made 14 appearances in all competitions, scored once, and provided 3 assists in a season that saw him win the President’s Cup and the MTN FA Cup for the side led by young trainer Samuel Boadu.
