Former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richard Attah has tipped his former team to claim victory in the much-anticipated Super Clash against Asante Kotoko on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The Phobians aim to break a streak of three consecutive defeats to their arch-rivals, and Attah believes they have the quality to secure a positive result.
“Hearts of Oak will beat Asante Kotoko; I foresee a 2-1 victory for Hearts of Oak on Sunday,” Attah confidently predicted in an interview with MOTV.
Reflecting on his achievements during his time at Hearts of Oak, Attah noted his record of three consecutive clean sheets against Kotoko between 2021 and 2022. He has now challenged current Hearts goalkeeper Benjamin Asare to uphold the tradition.
“I want Benjamin Asare to continue my record of keeping clean sheets in all Premier League games against Asante Kotoko, starting this Sunday,” he added.
