Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi, the Administrative Manager of Asante Kotoko, has launched a scathing critique against Aduana Stars General Manager Takyi Arhin following a contentious 2-1 defeat in Dormaa.
Dasoberi attributes the decline in Ghanaian football to individuals like Takyi Arhin, whom he accuses of inciting unrest and tarnishing the sport's reputation. Referred to as "Thunder," Arhin is labeled a "hooligan" by Dasoberi for his alleged role in provoking disturbances.
In an interview on Onua FM's Onua Sports Centre, Dasoberi didn't mince words: "Takyi Arhin is a liar, and he’s always the reason why bad things happen to Asante Kotoko in Dormaa. He incited the people of Dormaa against us even when the president of the club, George Gyawu, had instructed him to treat us well. Characters like this are the reason why our football is going down."
Dasoberi expressed his dismay at the treatment he received in Dormaa, where he was reportedly compelled to stay at a police station until the conclusion of the Aduana Stars vs. Kotoko match.
